Silent and unseen, Eileen moved under the canopy with an arrow ready to find the throat of a snooping smuggler. Coming closer to the voices she could have swore that she heard some of them before.

Then she caught a glimpse of the faces

She made a mean grin before letting the notched arrow fly....into the trunk of a tree nearby the berry pickers.

Dramatic entrance could be used to make a point, y'know.

''All y'all should learn to listen as well as you talk. There are plenty of hostiles here in these part, I recall.'' she said, revealing herself to get her arrow. ''Considering the tone of the discussion you were having, I wager things are okay for your thopter's team?''

Though he and Mr. Bravo had been watching outward while the others gathered rubyberries, the arrow flying into their group and the voice that followed it came as a surprise.

Once he saw the source, he wasn't as chagrined. Eileen had a reputation as solid as his was shaky with the locals.

Mr. Bravo squawked indignantly at the new arrival while Ambrose replied, "No injuries, but the thopter's in rough shape. How 'bout you? We heard some explosions. It's what we were using to zero in on your location."

Not sure why Vigilance would be used vs Stealth instead of Perception FFG.

Hadrian didn't panic at the arrow, but at the very least he found Eileen quickly enough and casually waved at her before turning back to berry picking. "So we found team 2. I hope their thopter isn't in too many pieces to salvage."

''About the same'' Eileen replied to the military looking guy ''The explosions likely was the lasgun turret blasting the mantas away...between that and Lydia's explosive ammo I am not sure the carcasses are in big enough chunks to eat.''

She nodded to Vinoman when he waved

''I was trying to camouflage our thopter when I heard you gang of loud mouthes. Soldierboy...erm...Efren? and Kiran are scouting the cliffs as we speak''

"Good idea covering the thopter. We didn't have time to, headed straight over once we heard the noise. Did see some signs of life on the way, markings on the trees, so we're not alone out here."

Scouts.

"Between the racket we made crashing through the canopy after firing weapons at those damn things, and then our new feathered comrade who seems to like our flyboy, I think the Atreides are the only people on Caladan who don't already know where we are."

He didn't really see anything of note for the sneaky scout, but having a ally around wasn't the worst thing to have. "What everyone said already; not much to add on my end, at least. Worried about our ship being out so open, but hopefully the natives won't be coming around till bright light and we have enough time to get what's needed."

Getting the camp ready for the night took the rest of the evening.
